Founded in 2014, Summerhouse is a family business based on Spain's beautiful Costa Blanca, inspired by the relaxed beauty of Mediterranean living.

Unlike many online retailers, we have a physical store in the Mediterranean and live the lifestyle that inspires our collections every day. From sun-filled terraces and natural textures to effortless indoor-outdoor living, our surroundings shape everything we do.

A Passion for Craftsmanship

Summerhouse was founded by Steve, whose passion for interiors and craftsmanship has been shaped by many years travelling throughout the Mediterranean, particularly Ibiza, as well as Bali and Indonesia. Inspired by the simple beauty, natural materials and relaxed way of life found in these destinations, he has spent years discovering talented artisans and family-run workshops.

Working closely with makers, Steve has helped curate and develop collections of handcrafted furniture and home accessories using traditional techniques passed down through generations. Every piece reflects a shared appreciation for natural materials, timeless design and authentic craftsmanship.

Our passion for authentic craftsmanship has also taken us to Bali and Indonesia, where we continue to build long-standing relationships with skilled artisans. By working directly with the people who make our collections, we are able to source unique handmade pieces with quality, character and a story behind them.
